Mobile personal decontamination/disinfection gate MB-1

The MB-1 decontamination gate is made of stainless steel and consists of six supporting pipes with a diameter of 21 mm, which are connected by clamp couplings, so it can be easily assembled without the need for any tools into the two variants below.

The shower/gate is designed in such a way that it can be used with the DE-2 or DE-3, which, due to the larger supply of decontamination medium, is primarily intended as a reservoir and drive for the liquid applied by the MB-1. In both configurations, the MB-1 operates at a pressure of 6.9 bar.

The MB-1 decontamination gate can be assembled in two ways:

The first version is a functionally and visually typical decontamination shower with a square footprint of 100 x 100 cm and a height of 230 cm. This application is suitable for conventional decontamination of persons. The whole structure is equipped with 21 stainless steel directionally adjustable misting nozzles. The shower can be connected to the liquid supply from two or four connection points, which are routed from the service panel. The liquid supply to the decontamination panel is by means of a clamp connection to the supply hose, and the other end of the hose can be adapted to any type of fitting. For greater decontamination efficiency and aerosol concentration, the mobile gate can be fitted with sidewalls to mitigate aerosol entrainment by the airflow into the surrounding area

The second option is two separate decontamination frames (mobile gates) with a clearance of 140 x 230 cm, which are created by disconnecting the shower structure, to which stainless steel stands are attached for greater stability. In this set-up, each gate is equipped with 11 misting nozzles. The first gate can be used, for example, to apply the decontaminant and the second to rinse it. This application is particularly suitable in areas where space is at a premium and may also be suitable for entrances and exits to and from various, particularly civil, facilities (e.g. airports, etc.). 

The feet on the feet of the shower/gate are swingable and height adjustable, allowing the whole structure to be assembled on uneven ground. The mobile shower/gate is equipped with a control panel at the inlet that evenly distributes the decontaminant to the individual connection points. At the same time, the decontaminant supply can be regulated. When two mobile gates are set up, the gates can be controlled independently using this panel.
